Position Available NHBC is seeking to fill a part-time, Housekeeping/Maintenance position.
As a housekeeping/maintenance worker, you will be responsible for cleaning a two-floor day program and be available to assist with minor maintenance work throughout the facility.
Duties include but are not limited to:
sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of restrooms and all facility rooms, and maintaining a housekeeping/maintenance log.
Duties may also include replacing light bulbs, small wall repairs, etc.
Qualifications & Experience Demonstrates strong work ethic, including reliability, timeliness, team player and ability to communicate well with program staff.
Ability to work independently and is a self-starter Experience working with mental health and DDD population preferred.
Good problem solving and emergency resolution skills needed Demonstrates patience and flexibility Assist and cooperate with management to ensure state and license mandates Must demonstrate an aptitude and desire to continually improve facility janitorial/housekeeping and facility maintenance tasks Experience with minor plumbing and mechanical repair preferred Knowledge of how to use email and voicemail needed Hours/ Job Type Hours are 10-20 hours per week.
Specific hours are flexible and can be discussed.
