A Quality Control Inspector is responsible for making sure that products meet a set of standards.
Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run, and training team members to refine production quality.
Reports to:
QA Manager
Responsibilities:
Perform incoming / In-process / Final inspection by using gauges and measurement devices.
Recording inspection results by completing reports Create forms.
Maintain calibration database updated.
Perform tests when required to make sure products are according to the requirements.
Communication with engineering when issues are found during an inspection Update quality objectives matrix Keep training matrix updated.
Proposing improvements to the production process Minimum Educational Qualifications (If Applicable):
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Basic Microsoft office (excel - word) Minimum Previous Experience (If Applicable):
1 year QC experience preferred.
Minimum Additional Training (If Applicable):
